  • If you have a business process that has a beginning and an end, you can flowchart the entire process as one process. For example, a sales process has a beginning, middle, and an end.
  • If you have a number of loosely connected business processes, you need to flowchart each of them separately, and look for links between each process, if there are links. For example, each of the performance management processes are separate, but are also loosely connected to each other.
