Create a new learning curve that surfs the tidal waves of change and complexity by learning at the speed of change. To deal with the conditions that change and complexity creates, people use all of the skills they have at their disposal. However, when they try to fix problems they can make them worse that they were in the first place. Rather than solve problems, the best that people can do is to manage them. This means that problems will continue to return, often with a vengeance. The reason that people fail to solve these problems has little to do with being smart enough to deal with accelerating change. It has more to do with being smart in a way that works when the degree of complexity is high.
